Mac

May 13, 2016  But if so could somebody describe in general terms what functionality is missing in the cut-down version of Garageband that runs on iPhone/iPad versus the full version that runs on a Mac? I just got some books on Garageband (I think they're geared to the Mac version) and wanted to see if it was worth learning it for mobile sketching purposes. It used to be that two USB audio interfaces/mics would require you to create an aggregate device in order to use them both at the same time with OS X. As this was still the case in early 2014 (see the Macworld article, below), it probably is still the case today. I was looking for a way to have multiple audio inputs into GarageBand, say using my Digital Line in, two iMics, and anything else that will get audio, but GarageBand only lets you choose one input at a time. But with a tip from the guys at Rogue Amoeba, there is a way!
